One Million Rising

Indivisible National is launching One Million Rising—a national effort to train one million people in the strategic logic and practice of non-cooperation, as well as the basics of community organizing and campaign design. This is how we build people power that can’t be ignored.

Good Trouble Lives On

July 17
Arlington MA

On July 17, Indivisible, 50501, and other groups are organizing a "Good Trouble Lives On" Day of Action to honor Congressman John Lewis and respond to civil and human rights rollbacks under the Trump administration.

 

Key Events:

​

  • Arlington Center Standout (5:00–6:30pm): Co-hosted by Indivisible LAB and Indivisible WIN. Attendees are encouraged to bring signs supporting voting rights, civil rights, or honoring John Lewis.

​

  • Lexington Highway Visibility (4:30–6:00pm): Over Route 95/128. A coordinated visibility event.

​

  • Boston Common Rally (6:00–8:00pm): Organized by Indivisible Mass Coalition, Mass 50501, ACLU-MA, and others at the Liberty Mall.

​

  • Additional events will also take place in Acton, Billerica, Concord, Waltham, and Woburn.

Indivisible LAB Evening Action Hours

July 15 and 22nd

7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Robbins Library, Arlington

On July 15th, we’ll take time to update each other, then choose among several actions, including preparation for our Good Trouble Rally in Arlington on July 17th (including making signs!), state-level advocacy, and tech exploration or support. On July 22nd, we’ll slow down to debrief about our protest and talk about ways we can support each other.sustain our energy.

These summer gatherings will be a chance to slow down for a time and share what's on your mind with other Indivisible LAB members. You are welcome to bring ideas for sign making. Poster board & markers will be provided. (A request has already come in for people to make "Burma Shave" signs before July  17!!) Bring ideas as well as for meetings and actions you'd like to share. If you'd like to do postcarding, letter writing, and more, we'll have time and space for that.

Keeping in mind that protests are ongoing, if you plan to also attend the growing Wednesday 11am -1pm ICE protest on Mall Road in Burlington, First Parish is approximately 10 minutes away by car.

Join us for ice cream Sundaes, live music, and a raffle to fundraise for LUCE - an immigrant led network committed to keeping our communities safe. Your support powers LUCE multilingual hotline, volunteer training, rapid response team and immigrant rights education.

Stand Up! Stand Out! Join us every Wednesday to defend the values that define our democracy and oppose policies that threaten our rights and freedoms. Bring a sign and stand with fellow activists as a visible show of resistance.
