Burma Shave Standouts
March 3, 21, and 24
4:15PM PM - 5:30 PM
Arlington

The third No Kings protest will take place on March 28, with related events planned across the United States and in other countries. Organizers say the goal is to urge President Trump and the Republican led Congress to stop what they see as an unconstitutional consolidation of power and the dismantling of federal institutions.

To build visibility, local supporters will hold provided signs at prominent locations in Arlington from 4:30 to 5:30 pm on three dates in March. The sign messages draw on the well known World War Two era poem that begins, “First they came for the Communists, and I did not speak out…,” with updated references to present day groups.

Volunteers are needed to pick up a sign by 4:15 pm and hold it for the full hour. Participants can RSVP for one, two, or all three dates. Specific locations and final details will be shared closer to each date, and any weather related changes will be communicated.
